Kids Yoga (Ages 5-7) by Next Generation Yoga with Cindy Lesher
Why is Next Generation Yoga for kids so awesome? Kids not only move their bodies in healthy ways, but they learn self-love, respect for others, consent and so much more! Every Next Generation class is filled with fun things to learn, lots of yoga and creative movements. The benefits for each unique age group are amazing. Kids leave feeling good about themselves, proud of their peers, and with new ways to self-regulate their own emotions.
Cooperative games, theme activities, storytelling, music, and art engage the natural energy and enthusiasm of the 5, 6 and 7-year old child. Classes explore Yoga poses, breathing exercises, visual imagery and relaxation techniques while conveying lessons in self-expression, body image, social skills, positive thinking, and environmental awareness.
