Join us for a 1.25-mile walk at Reservoir Park!
This Walk With A Doc program is designed to provide some general health information and a moderately-paced walk around Reservoir Park and the National Civil War Museum including a portion of the Greenbelt. It will be a 1.25-mile loop walking around Reservoir Park and the National Civil War Museum.
This is a rain-or-shine event, but can be canceled due to severe weather conditions such as thunderstorms, high winds, ice or snow. We will notify participants 1 hour before the program start time should there be any program changes due to weather.
This walk is on paved roadways, but there are some elevated areas. The full walk is estimated to take about 45 minutes based on the pace of the walkers. We encourage you to come out and join the walk for as long or as little as you are able.

Things to Know Before You Go:
- You may encounter slightly uneven terrain along with paved surfaces.
- Dress for the weather and wear comfortable supportive shoes.
- Bring a bottle of water with you to stay hydrated. You may also bring your own snacks.
- You may want to bring a hat, sunglasses, bug spray, and sunscreen.
- There is adequate parking available at the park.
- Porta Potty restroom facilities are located near the children's play area
- This route is handicapped-accessible.
- Check your email 1 hour before the program start time for any weather-related updates or cancellations.
This walk is being organized by Penbrook Borough Parks & Recreation, Capital Area Greenbelt Association, Susquehanna Township Recreation & Parks, Penn State Health, and Dauphin County Parks & Recreation Department.
