Succulent Planter Workshop

By Dauphin County Parks & Recreation (other events)

Thursday, September 9 2021 5:30 PM 7:30 PM

You will have the opportunity to work with Plantscapes By Design to create a unique succulent fall arrangement in a cement log planter (9”L x 3”H).

The ladies from Plantscapes will walk you through the planting and provide information to keep your planter beautiful all year long. All materials are provided and registration is required. Seats are limited and these classes normally fill up quickly.

The program time is listed as 5:30 - 7:30 p.m., to allow sufficient time; however, you are likely to finish sooner.

This program will be held outside at the East Pavilion at Fort Hunter, but will be moved inside to a program room in the Centennial Barn in the event of inclement weather.

This is part of the Park Rx series of programs sponsored by Highmark Blue Shield

COVID-19 UPDATE (8/30/21) - In the past few weeks there has been an increase in COVID cases among the unvaccinated (children included). The new variant, Delta, has a high transmission rate. The CDC has elevated the Dauphin County community to be that of substantial risk of exposure. We strongly encourage our guests to wear masks at this program until you are socially distanced from other participants. While we encourage mask wearing, we are not mandating it.
