Join us for a walk in Harrisburg!

This Walk With A Doc program is designed to provide some general health information and a moderately-paced walk. This is a FREE walk, but we ask that you pre-register. This walk is appropriate for all ages and children are welcome to attend but should be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Meet Up Location: 3211 N. Front Street | Harrisburg PA 17110. This is the building where the Harrisburg Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Visit Hershey & Harrisburg Visitor’s Bureau are located. We thank them for allowing us to use their parking lot as a meet-up location for this walk.
The walk leader will be Dr. David Bradley
Dr. Bradley is a Board-Certified Endocrinologist and Director of the Adult Diabetes Program at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. He received his medical degree from Wayne State University and completed his Residency and Fellowship Programs at the University of Wisconsin. He relocated to Hershey in 2021 after working for 10 years at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center and has been caring for patients with Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes throughout his career, as well as conducting research in obesity and metabolism.

This is a rain-or-shine event; however, we will not walk in stormy conditions. The email you use when registering is where we will contact you should there be any weather modifications necessary.
Most of the walk will be flat, but there may be some slightly elevated areas. We encourage you to come out and join the walk for as long or as little as you can. It will be an out-and-back walk with a length of approximately 1.5 - 2 miles.
Things to Know Before You Go:
- You may encounter slightly uneven terrain along with paved surfaces.
- Dress for the weather and wear comfortable supportive shoes.
- Bring a bottle of water with you to stay hydrated. You may also bring your own snacks.
- You may want to bring a hat, sunglasses, or sunscreen.
- There is adequate free parking available at the meet-up location.
- There are NO RESTROOMS open at this time.
This walk is being organized by Penbrook Borough Walk With A Doc group, Capital Area Greenbelt Association, Susquehanna Township Walk With A Doc, and Dauphin County Parks & Recreation Department. We want to thank the Harrisburg Regional Chamber of Commerce and Visit Hershey & Harrisburg for allowing us the use of their parking lot for this walk.
