ABOUT ABOUT

Join us for a 1.25-mile walk at Reservoir Park!

NEW DATE: Wednesday, August 9th (Previously was August 8th but we needed to change the date due to availability)

This Walk With A Doc program is designed to provide some general health information and a moderately-paced walk around Reservoir Park and the National Civil War Museum including a portion of the Greenbelt. It will be a 1.25-mile loop walking around Reservoir Park and the National Civil War Museum.

This is a rain-or-shine event.

Most of the walk will be flat, but there are some slightly elevated areas. The full walk is estimated to take :30 - :45 minutes based on the pace of the walkers. We encourage you to come out and join the walk for as long or as little as you are able.

Walk Topic: "Step by Step: New research findings on how the number of walking steps can reduce mortality"

The walk leader will be Dr. Everett Hills. Dr. Hills is a 1987 graduate of the George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences. He has worked in Hershey, PA at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and the Penn State Hershey Rehabilitation, and Sports Medicine location. Dr. Hills currently has his own practice and consulting firm called Function Focused PM&R Care+, LLC where he continues to practice rehabilitation medicine, independent medical examinations, and impairment ratings along with medical certification physicals for pilots and truck drivers.
